I tried unplugging all other USB devices as some search results suggested to no avail. Next, I attempted a flash drive reinstallation/repair as instructed but it's stuck on the blue Windows logo with spinning dots for about 40 minutes now. I force restarted since it was the only thing left to do and as I did so I was greeted with a message telling me something was wrong with the boot manager (didn't remember to take screenshots at this point, but it was a one sentence message, something like what I've written).Īfterwards, after another restart, I came upon this screen: Nothing was responsive, task manager was inaccessible. Two days ago while I was transferring some images from my phone to my PC, explorer suddenly stopped responding in the folder I was in, followed shortly by a complete freeze of my OS (Windows 10).
